OHIO EPA AIM Coatings Rule
Ohio EPA has given notice of new proposed AIM coatings rules. The rules are to provide emission reductions to assist in attaining and maintaining the eight-hour ozone standard throughout the state. Ohio EPA wants the rules implemented by the 2008 ozone season in order to improve the state's most troublesome non-attainment areas (the eight county Cleveland/Akron metropolitan areas). A public hearing on the rule change will be conducted on Monday, May 7, 2007. Detailed information can be found at: http://www.epa.state.oh.us/dapc/regs/regs.html
