Follow these tips to ensure a successful application of AquaTough™ that stands up to heavy traffic in any setting:- To avoid reactions with the paint, use stainless steel or other non-reactive application equipment
- Remove loose material and clean the road surface of engine oil buildup, epoxy coatings, or peeling paint
- Only apply AquaTough™ to dry surfaces
- Ideal application conditions are temperatures of 60°F or higher, with 80% or lower humidity
- Apply evenly to achieve a consistent thickness and appearance
- Allow new asphalt or concrete to cure for 30 days before applying AquaTough™
- Do not apply AquaTough™ to newly sealed surfaces
- Create a small test patch of AquaTough™ before initiating the project in full
